Q:   How do I place a classified ad online?
A:   You need to register your new account with My the Artists Site first, then you can log in and post your ad. Registration creates an account in your name and gives you a way to manage your account.  Registration also gives us a way to communicate with you.  After you have registered, just log in and post your ads.  We think you will find it easy and fun!

To create an ad:
  • Log in to the site as a registered user.
  • In the top navigation bar, click on the Post an Ad link.
  • Select the category in which you will place the ad.
  • Click on the Next button.
  • Enter the characteristics of the ad. Select the ad type; For Sale, For Rent or  Wanted.  The required fields are Title, Description, Price, and Location.
  • Click the Finish button when you are ready to submit the ad.
To upload a photo for your ad immediately after creating it:
  • After you clicked the Finish button, click the Upload Photos For Your Ad Now link.
  • In the Manage Photos section, click Browse to select the image to upload.
  • Click Upload.
  • Repeat steps 2 through 3 for any additional photos you wish to upload.
To upload a photo for an existing ad:
  • Log in to the site as a registered user.
  • In the top navigation bar, click My Ads & Profile.
  • In the My Current Ads section, click the Edit link of the ad you wish to upload pictures to.
  • Click the Manage Photos link in the Actions section of the page.
  • In the Manage Photos section, click Browse to select the image to upload.
  • Click Upload.
  • Repeat steps 5 through 6 for any additional photos you wish to upload.

Q:   How do I manage my account online?
A:   After you register with the Artists Site you can log in, post your ads and manage your account. You can edit, move, add, delete and renew your ads online 24 hours a day 7 days a week without contacting us.  You can also bookmark interesting ads and keep track of how many times each of your ads has been looked at and how many email offers you have received online.  It's easy at the Artists Site!

Managing your ads and profile:
  • The site allows you to manage your active and inactive ads, your saved bookmarks, and your profile characteristics. Profile characteristics include your first name, last name, email and password.
To change your profile
  • Login to the site as a registered user.
  • In the top navigation bar click on the My Ads & Profile link.
  • Click on the My Profile link.
  • Your profile information consists of:
  • First Name, Last Name and Email.  To change your first name, last name or email just change the appropriate text box. Click the Save button to make the changes permenant.
  • Password.  To change your password enter your existing password, new password and confirmation password in the appropriate text boxes.  Click the Change Password button to change your password.
To Remove Bookmarks:
  • Login to the site as a registered user.
  • In the top navigation bar click on the My Ads & Profile link.
  • Click on the Saved Bookmarks link.
  • Click the the Remove link of a bookmarked ad you wish to remove from the bookmark list.
Q:   What types of ads are available?
A:   Free ads with no time limit are available for all items.  Classified ads without photos and photo ads are available.  Classified ads with photos (detail ads) can also be posted as "feature ads" which will highlight them on the home page.
Q:   How long do the ads run online?
A:   You have the option to run your ads for as long as you want. It is fast and easy to re-list your ads when they expire by going to the My Ads & Profile page and clicking on the Inactive Ads link.  Re-listing your expired ads at the Artists Site is easy and fast!
Q:   How much does it cost?
A:   Posting an ad is fast, easy and free.  We're open 24/7 so you can post your ads and manage your account whenever it is convenient for you.  Of course there is no cost to browse the ads and make purchases!
Q:   Is my information safe when I submit it?
A:   Yes!  We use the latest industry standard encryption technology to insure that your personal information remains private.  Our Secure Socket Layer technology will protect your information.  Your privacy is very important to us at the Artists Site.
Q:   Why should I use this site for my ads?
A:   We are a local "plain vanilla" website.  There is nothing on the Artists Site that you wouldn't want your kids to see.  We make every effort to give you free features that many other sites would charge extra for.  Our goal is your complete satisfaction.  Please use the feedback link to let us know how we are doing.

Property Rights

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS POLICY: Our company provides templates both by in-house and freelance designers. We contractually prohibit our designers from using materials that infringes third party intellectual property rights (such as copyright, trademark, trade dress and right of publicity) in their designs. We encourage intellectual property rights owners to contact us if they believe that a designer has infringed their rights. If you let us know that your rights are being infringed by one of our designers we will (in our discretion) remove the template in question from products and, if the designer continues to infringe your rights (or infringes the rights of others) terminate our agreement with the designer. If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed by one of our designer, please provide our Copyright Officer with a notification that contains the following information: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other rights that have been allegedly infringed. Identification of the copyright, trademark or other rights that have been allegedly infringed. The URL or product number(s) used in connection with the sale of the allegedly infringing merchandise. Note that simply including "www.domain.com" is not sufficient to identify what you are objecting to; please include links to specific designs. Your name, address, telephone number and email address. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent or the law. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other right that is allegedly infringed. You don't need to register to search the ads and contact sellers.  Check out the For Sale, For Rent and Wanted items anytime 24/7.  You deal directly with your Michigan friends and neighbors locally.

Just click on the ad photo or title to go to the ad detail page, then either email the seller directly by clicking on the EMAIL SELLER button or call the phone number if the seller listed one in their ad. It's fast, safe and easy to contact sellers at the Artists Site!
